Tons of fun in STL!!

 

Christopher and I spent a long weekend with our peeps in the Lou.  The Nugget loved almost every second of the trip (the only exception being sharing with his arch-nemesis:  Reesey).   Not only did he get to read and play with Grandma and Grandpa, but he also had tons of fun with the Stiff and Britt clan.  And G&G's basement kicks some serious a$$ for a little man that loves cars and trains.  We can't wait to head back for Thanksgiving!

Christopher has been obsessed with suitcases for a couple of months now. He likes to drag my suitcase around, often taking out anything in his way. We decided to get the little man a little case to wheel around (and hopefully cause less destruction). He LOVES it! Score one for Mom and Dan. He has been putting some serious miles on these wheels!

Love is in the Air

Christopher and his bff Michael have a serious love affair happening. They have very different personalities, but it totally works for them. Michael doesn't like mac & cheese, Christopher eats it by the ton. Michael likes to hug, Christopher will sit still long enough to let him. Michael likes to hold snack cups, Christopher frequently leaves his behind for Michael to steal. Christopher likes trains, Michael has a good head to run a train over. It is basically a match made in heaven. The only bond stronger than this one is the one Michael has for Bo. Seriously, he LOVES Bo. As in would probably sell his own mother (and snack cup) for Bo.

Planes, trains and automobiles

Christopher is a boy, no doubt about that. The little man is obsessed with all things boy. We just picked up a new train table and train set for him and he is loving it! If the toy has wheels, then it is a winner for the Nugget. He is also mirroring both his father and Grandpa B by lining up the cars. Apparently they both used to do that for hours on end as little boys, and Christopher is following in those footsteps. Here's a hint for Veteran's Day/Thanksgiving/Christmas gifts- wheels!!!!!!!

Bless his little heart for still supporting his team despite an 0-4 start for the season. He is more like his father every day!
