Wild and Crazy Weekend for Ricey

Ricey had quite an exciting weekend.  We spent Friday night at the Cavs game for the Cavs vs. Knicks game.  It was a Christmas miracle as the Cavs pulled out a victory.  The best part of the game was that we had a box on the floor and free food (and drinks) all night long (thanks Enterprise!).  We ate some great food before the game started and then Ricey INSISTED on going back at half time for dessert.  We learned that the little one enjoys professional sports (much like his/her father).  Ricey was extremely active for the entire game- and did not rest until 1:00am- which is wayyyyyy past Mom's bed time.

Saturday night we went out to a nice dinner before making a quick cameo appearance at my company's holiday party (2 months after the holidays).  Dad made sure to take advantage of the open bar and designated driver. 

The Bump- Week 30

Here is the newest picture of the growing bump at 30 weeks.  Pardon my hair- today has been a lazy Sunday- and this was the first time I got out of bed.  Ricey has spent the day enjoying HGTV and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches (prepared and delivered by Dad).

Superior Genes

If you know my husband, you know he is extremely humble.  Ha.  On many occasions, Bo has expressed to me that he hopes our little babe gets most of his "superior genes". 

These superior genes include (but are not limited to):

• Bo's superior immune system
• Bo's superior digestive system
• Bo's superior athletic ability
• Bo's great lobes (as in ear lobes)
• Bo's luscious lips

Well Bo can rest-assured knowing that at least one of these may be coming true.  We had an ultrasound today to check on the little one.  We learned that Ricey is still quite the mover.  The tech said Ricey was fun to watch because he/she was all over the place.  Ricey is also very bendy.  For most of the ultrasound, Ricey's foot was up by his/her head.  We've got a little gymnast in there!
